TACLOBAN CITY– Artists across the region gathered through their art to help promote peace and order in Eastern Visayas.

The event, dubbed as ‘peace and quiet 2’ exhibit opened on March 22, 2023 at Robinsons North, this city.

Pitad Kultura collaborated with the Philippine Army as it celebrates its 126th founding anniversary.

The first such event was held in December of last year.
Mark Balais, the chairperson of Pitad Kultura, this year’s edition is bigger compared to last year in terms of participants.

“Mas marami kami ngayon not like before, yung mga sumali na mga visual artists ay konti lang ngayon mas madami na kami. This is participated by artists all around the region, not just in Tacloban,” he said.

“We are trying to unite all local artists in our region, sabi pa nga nila mag kakaiba man ang paniniwala namin pero iisa lang yung mithiin namin at yan yung palago na kultura at sining ng mga Waraynon,” Balais added.

The group will also stage its third edition this June with environmental protection as a theme.
