ORMOC CITY — Authorities arrested Biliran province’s second most wanted person during a joint law enforcement operation in Cabucgayan town on June 17.
The suspect, identified as Uldarico Noquera, a carpenter and resident of Cabucgayan, Biliran, was apprehended at around 8:10 a.m. in Barangay Libertad by operatives from the Cabucgayan Municipal Police Station and intelligence units of the Biliran Police Provincial Office.
Noquera was listed as the No. 2 most wanted person at the provincial level.
Police served a warrant of arrest issued on June 9, 2026 by Judge Constantino Faller Esber of the Regional Trial Court Branch 37 in Naval, Biliran.
The accused is facing two counts of statutory rape under the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, as well as a charge of acts of lasciviousness.
The court ordered no bail for the two statutory rape charges, while bail for the acts of lasciviousness case was set at P108,000.
Following his arrest, Noquera was brought to the Cabucgayan Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition before being turned over to the court.
