NSSDEO, Brgy. Burabud, Laoang, Northern Samar – Arthur Eric Lao Sabong, a civil engineer and a lawyer, is now full-fledged Assistant District Engineer of DPWH Northern Samar Second District Engineering Office (DPWH-NSSDEO).
ADE Sabong is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2010 and subsequently obtained his post-graduate education in Master in Public Administration in 2014 at the University of Eastern Philippines-Main Campus. Thereafter, he took Bachelor of Laws in the same University and graduated with overwhelming achievement in 2018, and passed the bar examinations at the same year.
He is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), Junior Chamber International Philippines-Catarman Cocoking Chapter, and Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Northern Samar Chapter.
ADE Sabong rose from the position of Engineer I on July 18, 2011, to Engineer II on July 18, 2012, and has held the position for almost 8 years. On February 20, 2020, he was promoted as Engineer III and became the Chief of the Planning and Design Section for almost 2 years. Through his commendable service, he was designated as Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Assistant District Engineer by virtue of Special Order No. 08, series of 2022, on January 6, 2022.
On January 8, 2024, he took his oath as full-fledged Assistant District Engineer, before DPWH-Regional Director Edgar Tabacon and DPWH-Assistant Regional Director Ma. Margarita C. Junia. He is an epitome of a well-rounded employee who will do everything for the NSSDEO to strive for more.
