ORMOC CITY– Mayor Lucy Torres Gomez said that the Ormocanons and even visitors could still expect a joyous city fiesta celebration with several activities been lined up.
She also said top officials of the country and some of the popular and well-loved showbiz personalities are also set to entertain the public as part of their annual fiesta celebration.
“This is our way to show the people of Ormoc who are the personalities that support the city and help in their development,” she said, particularly referring to Senators Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go and JV Ejercito last Friday (June 16).
Asked about the highlights of the fiesta celebration, Gomez mentioned that almost every day is a highlight.
Among the performers invited by the fiesta committee are popular actor Piolo Pascual for the Miss Ormoc pageant on June 23 and Vice Ganda who is set to perform on June 29 at the city’s public plaza.
The city celebrates its annual fiesta on June 28-29.
