ORMOC CITY– A vintage bomb described as a projectile 75 mm high explosive was found by a house helper at about 10:15 am on Thursday (November 2) in Sitio Caloogan Brgy. San Jose, Palo, Leyte.
Investigation conducted by the local police disclosed that the said projectile was found by Edzar Agbandog (helper) while shoveling a stockpile of soil beside the house of Police Staff Sergeant Alvin Abit’s sister in the said place.
Abit, in turn, reported the found vintage bomb to the police station which is now under the custody of the explosive and ordinance section of the regional police headquarters.
