The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) continues to amplify its efforts to ensure the successful registration of the citizenry to PhilSys. Since its implementation in 2020, PSA RSSO 8 proactively march on towards the successful attainment of the goals of the project as PhilSys has already registered more than 80 million Filipinos.
PSA RSSO 8 continuously employs various campaign and strategies like the PhilSys On Wheels wherein registration teams roam and penetrate far-flung areas in the region to saturate the registration. This effort has significantly shown greater registration impact and has been replicated by other PSA offices in the country. House to house and plaza type registration is also being conducted as well as the establishment of co-location at the Civil Registry System Outlet and other relying parties like Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD, Department of Migrant Worker (DMW), malls among others.
PhilSys teams also reach out to our senior citizens at the grassroots with the assistance of the barangay officials and persons with disability are being registered at the comfort of their homes.
Simultaneously, PSA RSSO 8 remains committed in fostering public awareness thru conduct of PhilSys fora, seminars, and meetings with other agencies, information dissemination drive thru tri-media and social media platforms. The agency also calls on our fellowmen to secure and use their PhilIDs or ePhilIDs in their financial transactions and in order to immediately enjoy the benefits and social services of the government.
