ORMOC CITY-The police here have arrested a man for selling allegedly shabu to a police-poseur buyer outside a cockpit facility located in Barangay Valencia, this city, on Sunday (Feb.10).
Andronico Judilla, 40, was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the elements of the Police Station (PS)2 led by its chief, Inspector Melvin Malate ,and City Drug Enforcement Unit headed by Senior Insp. Franklin Romeo Parangan.
Malate said that a police surveillance on Judilla determined his continued involvement in drug peddling since his surrender in 2016 to Kananga town police prompting them to conduct the operation.
He said that the suspect is a resident of Barangay Montebello, Kananga town but he operates in Valencia, this city.
Judilla was immediately nabbed when the police took hold of a sachet containing suspected shabu in exchange of the P1,000 marked money.
Judilla denied getting involved in drug peddling saying that the confiscated items from his possession during the sting operation does not belong to him.
Aside from the marked money, seized from the suspect were eight sachets of shabu and a P300 cash.
Judilla, who is detained at PS2 detention cell, is facing violation of sections 5 and 11, specifically drug selling and possession, respectively, of Republic Act 9165, known as Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
