ORMOC CITY-Maintenance field workers of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th District Engineering Office upkeeps the Libungao–Matag-ob–Palompon road section to ensure safety and comfort for motorists and the traveling public.

The maintenance crew addressed asphalt pavement distress by performing cut-and-patch repairs, removing deteriorated sections and replacing them with new asphalt mix. They also replaced broken sections of concrete pavement to keep the roadway surface even, durable, and reliable.

“When we fix small road issues early, we prevent bigger problems and keep our communities moving safely,” said OIC-District Engineer Peter Scheler V. Soco. “The DEO will continue its routine maintenance works to support safer travel and extend the lifespan of infrastructure across the district.” (PR)
