DOLORES, Eastern Samar — Dozens of children from underserved families received free health and grooming services during a community outreach program conducted by the 1st Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company at its headquarters in Barangay 15/Lunang, Dolores.
A total of 60 boys underwent free circumcision while 50 others received free haircuts under the “Libreng Tuli at Libreng Gupit” initiative aimed at providing basic healthcare and grooming services to families with limited access to such needs.
Before the procedures, the children attended an information session on Republic Act 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, along with lessons on “good touch and bad touch” to promote child safety and awareness. Snacks and ice cream were also given to participants.
Police officials said the activity is part of efforts to promote both health and child protection in local communities, while parents welcomed the program for helping ease household expenses.
Medical procedures were carried out by the Eastern Samar Provincial Medical and Dental Team with support from the Dolores Municipal Police Station and the 52nd Infantry Battalion.
