Catarman N. Samar – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)- Northern Samar 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) employees warmly welcome its new Assistant District Engineer (ADE) in the person of Engr. Eduardo M. Lagrimas.
Engr. Lagrimas officially assumed his position as OIC-Assistant District Engineer of Northern Samar 1st DEO on September 1, 2026 by virtue of Special Order No. 267, Series of 2026, dated August 28, 2026.
During the flag raising ceremony, ADE Lagrimas expressed his strong desire in helping the DEO towards achieving its mission, vision and goal by emphasizing the importance of teamwork and cooperation.
“Laumi niyo nga adi an akon pagbulig para sa kaupayan sa aton Distrito. Ada kunta an aton pagkasarayo,pagburubligay ngan suporta sa kada tagsa para ma-achieve naton an aton misyon, vission ngan goal san aton opisina” he said.
Prior to the reassignment of ADE Lagrimas to Northern Samar 1st DEO, he was the Chief of the Quality Assurance Section of DPWH- Northern Samar 2nd DEO, where he rendered 40 years of dedicated service.
Engr. Lagrimas is no stranger to the Northern Samar 1st DEO. He was previously assigned to then DPWH Northern Samar District Engineering Office before the organization was divided into two district engineering offices, which are now known as DPWH Northern Samar 1st DEO and Northern Samar 2nd DEO.
In 2025, Engr. Lagrimas successfully passed the District Engineer/Assistant District Engineer (DE/ADE) Promotional Examination, paving the way for his appointment as OIC-Assistant District Engineer of the Northern Samar 1st DEO.
With his extensive experience, proven dedication, and strong background in quality assurance, Engr. Lagrimas is expected to bring his leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence to his new assignment at the Northern Samar 1st DEO.
His assumption to office marks another chapter in the district’s continuing pursuit of excellence and quality public service.
