Globe Telecom posted a record P165.1 billion in consolidated gross service revenues for full-year 2025, surpassing 2024 levels despite inflation and natural calamities.
The company’s strong performance was driven by robust demand for data and digital services, which now account for 88% of total revenues, up from 86% in 2024. Fourth-quarter revenues reached P43.4 billion, up 5% from the previous quarter, supported by increased mobile data usage, broadband demand, and operational efficiency.
Globe’s mobile business hit an all-time high of P116.9 billion in service revenues, with its subscriber base rising to 65.8 million. Mobile data revenues reached P101.2 billion, fueled by growing 5G adoption and digital content engagement.
Home broadband revenues grew to P24.0 billion, led by fiber adoption, with total broadband subscribers increasing to 2.1 million. Globe also launched the 5G WiFi loop device, offering portable high-speed connectivity for homes and on the go.
Corporate data services generated P20.7 billion in 2025, driven by ICT solutions, cloud services, and cybersecurity offerings. Globe’s non-telco businesses contributed P2.3 billion.
Full-year net income was P23.3 billion, slightly down from 2024, while EBITDA reached P87.6 billion with a 53.1% margin. Globe maintained a solid financial position, with total debt at P256.3 billion.
“Our 2025 results reflect the resilience and adaptability of our core business,” said Globe President and CEO Carl Raymond Cruz. “We will continue to expand our 5G footprint, broadband reach, and digital services to meet evolving customer needs.” (PR)
